Our standard check-in time is 14h00. We ask that guests notify us of their planned time of arrival a day before checking in.  This will help us to preheat the hot tub so that it’s warm and ready for guests to use as soon as they arrive.

Our standard check-out time is 10h00. Guests checking out:

• On a Monday to Friday after 8h30 should please lock both doors of the unit and leave the keys in the front door
• On a Monday to Friday before 8h30 should please lock both doors of the unit, activate the alarm and lock the keys in the combination box at the entrance of the farm.
• On a Saturday or Sunday should please lock both doors of the unit, activate the alarm and lock the keys in the combination box at the entrance of the farm.

We offer guests the option to enclose the veranda and hot tub with a temporary fence to keep the four-legged friends close to home. Guests who would like to make use of this option are welcome to notify us preferably a day before checking in. As for sleeping arrangements, we kindly ask that pets sleep in their own beds.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a packet of rusks, a liter of long life milk and a bottle of wine. Guests are welcome to request a non-alcoholic bottle of sparkling juice instead of the bottle of complimentary wine.

The Cottage is equipped with a cash bar. Local wine from farms in the area is available for purchase as well. Berseba Farm does not cater for any food, but guests are welcome to place an order for a braai pack from Gabriëlskloof a day before checking in. For eating out, the neighbouring towns of Caledon, Hermanus and Kleinmond offer a variety of restaurants and are only a couple of minutes’ drive from the farm. Alternatively, Gabriëlskloof Wine Estate is practically down the road, but bookings are essential.

We aim to provide sufficient wood for the duration of our guests’ stay. In the case of guests running low on firewood, a top up can be requested at no extra charge. We ask that guests notify us a day in advance.
