Our standard check-in time is 15h00. We ask that guests notify us of their planned time of arrival a day before checking in. This will help us to preheat the hot tub so that it’s warm and ready for guests to use as soon as they arrive.

Our standard check-out time is 10h00. Guests checking out:

• On a Monday to Friday after 8h30 should please lock both doors of the unit and leave the keys in the front door.
• On a Monday to Friday before 8h30 should please lock both doors of the unit, activate the alarm and place the keys in the key box at the entrance of the farm.
• On a Saturday or Sunday please lock both doors of the unit, activate the alarm and place the keys in the key box at the entrance of the farm.

We offer guests the option to enclose the veranda and hot tub with a temporary fence to keep the four-legged friends close to home. Guests who would like to make use of this option are welcome to notify us preferably a day before checking in. As for sleeping arrangements, we kindly ask that pets sleep in their own beds.

Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a packet of rusks and long-life milk. 

The Lavender Cottage is equipped with a cash bar. Local wine from farms in the area is available for purchase as well. Berseba Farm does not cater for any food. For eating out, the neighbouring towns of Caledon, Hermanus, Kleinmond and Botriver offer a variety of restaurants and are only a few minutes drive from the farm. Alternatively, Genevieve MCC and Gabrielskloof Wine Estate are practically down the road, booking is essential.

We aim to provide sufficient wood for our guests’ stay. In the case of guests running low on firewood, a top-up can be requested at no extra charge. We ask that guests notify us a day in advance.
